Headshot, right through, striking my face and the world went black. I was crawling over the dead, angst-ridden in a state of delirium, Deranged and so scared Aware of mortality. This is not the land of my fathers. Not my war, my purpose of life. I was forced to the forces, oh God, I‘m going home. I got on my feet, followed the stars, 5000 miles away from home. Running through the night, and hiding through the day. Never loosing faith. One year of hunger, one year of thirst, Loss of hair and teeth and strength. But I went on driven by despair. Oh God, I‘m going....., going home. Oh God, I‘m coming home.....
