The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Another year older and perhaps slightly wiser, I had to do the wise thing and buy this stunning effort by Beltez. While less avant-garde and more direct than A Grey Chill and a Whisper, this album is a tour de force of melancholic and dark melodies, equally comfortable at breakneck speeds as it is in its more contemplative moments. Atmospheric to the hilt, the robust production value makes this feel far more powerful than most ABM contemporaries. Be wise, do the right thing, and buy this! Ippocalyptica
"Vlammenzee" is utterly ferocious. I keep revisiting this over and over again. Only after six minutes, you're allowed some room to unwind from the raging inferno (pun intended, if you're Dutch) by a quiet, semi-acoustic breeze. Make sure to take a few minutes to catch your breath when you're done listening to this dense EP. Bloedarend
Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
